Salamat for Supporting Lakad for Kalusugan

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Lakad for Kalusugan, a family-friend 5k race and community festival on August 26th, and to those who supported from afar!

5 Days until Lakad.png

It was such an incredible day with 500+ attendees, amazing performers and emcees, Filipino food and drink vendors, community organizations, raffle prizes... and with your support, we were able to meet our fundraising goal of $75,000 for livelihood- and health-related projects and initiatives in the Philippines that would provide the ever-needed disaster support and medical mission to vulnerable communities impacted by extreme poverty and disasters; and to support the the Filipino Bayanihan Center's Health Clinic in Portland, OR!

Thank you to all of the organizers and volunteers that put this race and community festival together, thank you to our vendors who served delicious food and drink and sold unique handmade items and wellness products, thank you to all of the sponsors who got us closer and closer to our fundraising goal, and thank you to all of the organizations that came to share about their work. And most of all, a big THANKS to our community who continue to show up for us and our kababayans in need.

We at the Foundation for Philippine Progress hold so much gratitude for everyone who had a hand in making this event a reality. It's with the strength and support of our community that we are able to carry forward our work. We couldn't do this without you! Maraming salamat from the bottom of our hearts.
